Byron Gordon

Byron joined GCI in March 2021 to develop GCI’s resources lending capabilities across various commodities. GCI’s resource offering, provided through GCI’s Asset Backed Finance and Strategic Capital solutions, has been designed to meet the rapidly changing needs of borrowers in the resources sector.

He has over two decades of experience in structured lending and capital markets solutions in the global resources sector. Before joining GCI, Byron worked for Investec for 14 years (11 years in Sydney), focusing on complex lending and structuring, including construction, project & acquisition financing and distressed lending.

Byron is Chartered Accountant and holds a PLDA from Harvard Business School.
