This personalised service uses AI-driven recommendations captured through surveys and ongoing customer reviews. They maintain high customer engagement with additional services such as food and wine pairings, interactive quizzes, and access to online wine guides.
With a planned equity raise in the process, Good Pair Days was seeking a credit facility to enable the business to further expand its operations in Australia whilst accelerating growth plans in the UK.
By focussing on education and exploration, with interactive wine reviews and quizzes, badges and rewards, online wine guides, and inbuilt challenges such as taste test questions on every bottle of wine ordered, Good Pair Days has maintained high customer engagement.
The business has seen strong growth in recent years as it was able to build a high retention member base, resulting in a high growth, recurring revenue business.

GCI’s Leap Capital team was able to engage quickly and provide Good Pair Days with a $5m credit facility. This facility allowed Good Pair Days to accelerate their growth in the UK and ultimately complete a growth equity fundraising round of $11m, led by the Cool Japan Fund.
