Ellen joined GCI as an Investment Manager and has since been promoted to Investment Director, where she leads the firm’s Real Estate team. In this role, she is responsible for originating and executing transactions, portfolio management, risk oversight, and driving the continued growth of GCI’s Real Estate strategy.
Ellen brings more than a decade of experience across risk analysis, commercial real estate, and private credit. She began her career as a Risk Analyst with the New Zealand Defence Force, where she spent three years developing a strong foundation in risk management and governance. In 2015, she transitioned into commercial real estate with Whillans Realty Group before relocating to Sydney in 2018. She subsequently held analyst roles at Ray White Commercial and Denning Investment Partners, where she progressed to Senior Analyst.
Ellen holds a Bachelor of Science in Statistics and Psychology from the University of Auckland.
