Hugh Selleck

Hugh commenced his financial services career at KPMG Australia in 2004. He joined Macquarie Group Limited in 2008 where he spent 9 years working across a number of operating businesses in Sydney and New York. Most recently he belonged to the Credit Markets division which provided debt financing solutions to mid-sized corporates in the US, Europe and Australia.

Prior to joining GCI in 2020 to launch and lead GCI’s Strategic Capital strategy, Hugh spent 3.5 years as an Investment Director at a Sydney-based credit fund where he focused on structuring loan facilities to stressed, distressed and turnaround companies in Australia. He was also a member of the investment committee.

Hugh has bachelor degrees in commerce and information technology from the Australian National University and is a Chartered Accountant in Australia.
