Karl Chong

Karl joined GCI as Investment Finance & Operations Manager in August 2025 with a focus on operational excellence and projects across all areas of the business.

Karl has over two decades of experience in financial services beginning his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC). He was Vice President Finance at BlackRock, held several senior finance leadership roles at Suncorp Group and was most recently the CFO of PM Capital.

Karl holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Sydney and a Graduate Diploma of Chartered Accounting from the Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand. Karl is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (MAICD) and a member of the Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CA).
